Partiokari
Partiokari is an island owned by Myrskypojat. The island has been in our use past fifty years. The new cabin “Fyyri” was completed in 2001. Fyyri’s coordinates are 61° 9, 0’ N and 21° 25, 1 E.
The new cabin was planned already at the beginning of nineties. Finally in the spring of 2000 the old cottage was tearn down and we could start to build new cabin. The construction work was bought from professionals but all interior furnishing is done by troop members.
The island is in use all around year expect for few weeks time of bad conditions of ice freezing and melting. The main users of place are scouts and ventures. Each patrol has camps and other activities in island. It is also used as base for many training courses and other scout activities.
